Adirondack Hotel On Long Lake

The Adirondack Hotel sits on the southeastern shores of Long Lake, New York USA in the Adirondack Park. We have been an operating hotel and restaurant since the mid 1800’s when tourism began it development in our region.  We are a fast paced business open year round.  Our busiest season is June 1 – October 15.  There are about 40 employees that are eager to share their love of the Adirondack Mountains with our exchange students.  Summer offers many outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, canoeing and fishing. There are two regionally acclaimed Museums near by.  Also Lake Placid is nearby where the 1932 and 1980 US Olympics where held.

HOUSING

There are 4 staff housing rooms available. Bedding type varies (bunk beds, 2 twins, full/queen bed) based on availability and if traveling solo or as a pair/couple. Bedding and linens are provided. There is one staff full bathroom available with toilet, sink, and large shower. There is a fridge, microwave, and continental area accessible for staff use. There are common areas within the hotel, but students must be courteous as they will share the space with hotel guests. Quiet hours after 10pm.
